Derwent Healthcare and Power Plate Unite to Offer Clients the Ultimate in Body Analysis
The addition of an InBody 230 Body Composition Analyser from Derwent Healthcare at London’s Power Plate® Studio at Harrods is helping the studio to achieve the essential business goals of attracting and retaining existing clients.
The analyser was purchased after a successful two month trial and now members can receive a 15 minute consultation which includes a comprehensive printed report of their personal results to give them the necessary information to help them work towards their specific health and fitness goals.
In just 35 seconds, the InBody 230 composition analyser conducts a non-invasive full body analysis using a unique eight-point electrode system. Vital body statistics including segmental muscle mass, body fat percentage and water content are measured and then detailed on a printed report.
Studio manager Jana Mitackova is delighted with the new purchase as it enables the studio to offer clients a complete package, as regular assessments allow trainers to work with their clients on a one-to-one basis, tracking their progress and recommending a workout program to help them achieve their goals.
We chose the InBody analyser for a number of reasons. It is fast, and non-invasive, and as it does not require a computer connection, it fits easily on the studio floor. But best of all, it offers us a powerful visual record that it is ideal for helping to further motivate clients and provide bespoke training programs, making this a unique selling point for prospective clients as well as an essential client retention tool.
While the analyser itself takes only 35 seconds to conduct a reading and produce a printed report, the Studio offers the consultation as a 15 minute package at an additional cost of £10, so that the trainer can explain the results and identify fitness goals with the client. This strengthens the personal service offered by the studio and adds a supplementary revenue stream for the business.
