The ACCUNIQ BC720 is a multi-frequency, whole body, segmental Body Composition analyser. It uses innovative BIA technology to give accurate and reproducible results. Bioelectrical impedance analysis is a commonly used method for estimating body composition, in particular body fat and muscle mass. However, for increased accuracy you need to measure all segments of the body at multiple frequencies. The Accuniq BC720 body composition analyser uses multiple frequencies to gain access to both the intra and extra cellular compartments of the body, because  if you only take a partial measurement of the body (ie arm to arm BIA) or single frequency then you are estimating the rest of the body using algorithm’s resulting in reduced accuracy
